Today we will compare prepaid plans of four major mobile operators in Brazil: Claro, TIM, Oi and Vivo.

Claro

Let’s start with Claro. The price of the sim costs R$ 15,00 and can be purchased easily over the internet or in any Claro’s store, newspapershops. Prepaid customers of Claro can access Facebook for free, works on apps for Android, iOS, Windows Phone and Java versions. Unfortunately it does not help in the application to BlackBerry for technical reasons.

TIM

The best prepaid plan from TIM is called Infinity Pré. This plan is for those who frequently make calls to people who also have TIM. The price of the sim is R$ 10,00.

The differential of the prepaid plan of Oi is the bonus. When you recharge R$ 15,00 you get R$ 10,00 of bonus to be consumed daily on calls from Oi to Oi. If you recharge R$ 20,00 you win another R$ 20,00 to be consumed in calls to Oi, fixed calls and DDD. When recharging R$ 25,00 you gain R$ 35,00 of bonus, same advantages plus text messages. Now note these bonus are only available when you call other numbers from Oi. Calls to other operators: 1,60 per minute.

VIVO

The Plan Vivo toda hora is the ideal option for those who use the phone any time of the day to make local calls. With it you talk 24 hours a day with flat rates per minute. You can buy a sim for R$ 10,00 in any Vivo’s store, newspaper shops, among others. After registering a new line at Vivo prepaid, every client gets automatically:

R$ 2,00 bonus, valid for 10 days, for use with promotional rates of Vivo Sempre, another 10 days of free access to Internet via your phone. Besides these advantages the new Vivo customer can participate in the Promotion Welcome to Vivo. Just recharge R$ 12,00 or more within 24 hours after the activation of the line to automatically earn over R$ 2,00 bonus valid for use with promotional rates of Vivo Sempre .
