This week we welcomed Madeleine Andersson is 30 years old and came from Sweden to be a part of a volunteer project named Children Care House in Curitiba. Children Care House is a place for young children who have been taken in for custody due to domestic violence.
We interviewed Madeleine to get to know her expectations for the next few weeks and what were the reasons that made her come to Brazil. Check it out:
Brazilian Experience: What are your expectations for the program?
Medeleine: I expect to help children who may be in need. I thought if I could bring happinness and help I should do it. Also I want to see much of the nature and visit Rio de Janeiro.
Be: Why did you choose to come to Brazil?
M: I think Brazil it’s a wonderful place to visit. They have a beautiful nature and also I think I´m going to like the local people.
Be: What is the main reason that led you to become a volunteer?
M: Give help to child.
